In 2017, the March for Life will take place on Friday, January 27th. It has been moved a week forward due to the inauguration, which will take place just days before.
That means that by the time we arrive in DC, a new President will be sworn in. That may be an encouraging event. Or, it might feel a little bit like the end of the word. Either way, these words spoken by King David in the book of I Chronicles will still be true: Look to the Lord and his strength; seek his face always.
In the midst of all the political turmoil we’ve seen this election year, we must remember: We do not gather in DC because we have put our trust in any politician — we gather to seek the face of God for our nation, and to acknowledge that His strength is our strength.
On January 26th & 27th, we invite you to join CEC For Life in our nation’s capitol as we once more dedicate ourselves (and our year) to saving the lives of preborn children. We are the church, friends. And the church is the only family these preborn children will ever have, for the world has clearly rejected them.
We have procured a block of rooms at the Cambria DC for the nights of Jan 26th & 27th (Thurs & Fri). In order to reserve a room, please call the hotel at 202.299.1188 and make your reservation under the group name “CECForLife2.” Rooms are $16o per night (plus tax).
All reservations must be received by January 4th, 2017. However, rooms are limited, so please be sure to make your reservations as soon as possible. Availability for the block is first come first serve.
