Announcing City-Wide Prayer Event in Tuscaloosa!

CEC For Life has teamed up with the organization Prolife Tuscaloosa, local pastors, and others in the pro-life community of T-Town for a new campaign to prayerfully, peacefully, and legally shut down West Alabama Women’s Center — the state’s highest performing abortion facility.

As always, this campaign must begin with prayer.

On August 15th, join fellow citizens, local pastors, and pro-life leaders for this one-hour, city-wide prayer service. In love and unity, we will cry out for the preborn and pray for the end of abortion in Tuscaloosa.

We will gather at the Magnolia Shelter in Snow Hinton Park at 10 AM, located at 1000 Hargrove Rd East. Join us for songs of worship, special prayers, and words of encouragement from leaders across the city and state.

There is plenty of room in the park for social distancing! Please bring blankets and chairs for your family to sit on, and maybe an umbrella for the heat. Attendees should maintain a 6-foot distance from people not in their household. Face coverings will also likely be required, depending on the state order at that time. (We will keep you updated!)

PRESS CONFERENCE ALSO TO BE HELD THAT MORNING

Prayer in the Park will be preceded by a 9:00 AM Press Conference in front of West Alabama Women’s Center, the local abortion clinic.

Due to alarming information that has recently come to light, pro-life citizens are calling for a full investigation of this clinic by the state. Our coalition of pro-life leaders will call for action at 9 AM, then head right over to the park to unite with everyone in prayer!

More on this press conference and the discoveries made about this clinic coming soon!
