I had the opportunity to spend all of last week in Madrid planning our Pro-life activities for the International CEC Convocation July 10-12, 2012.
The CEC European clergy and youth have been such a blessing and an encouragement to me! They are working so hard for the success of our gathering this summer. We have picked out sites for the outdoor events, we have met with Pro-life groups here in Spain and arranged for necessary permission to stand for the Sanctity of Life in the streets of Madrid. We have even met with vendors who can print our t-shirts and provide us with merchandising at the convention center.
To top things off, I had the honor of attending a special dinner to honor Bishop Elmer Belmonte and his wife Citadel on their 25th Wedding Anniversary.
Currently, I am in France with Fr. Donn Bautista and his congregation in Paris. I had the privilege of encouraging them in their stand for Jesus and for His children this past Wednesday, and I will be preaching again on Sunday. I will return home on Monday, January 20th, just in time for the 40 Days for Life Kickoff in Birmingham, AL.
Though I am exhausted from what feels like nearly two straight months of traveling, this last leg in Europe has been an incredibly fortifying time for me. I am more encouraged than ever that the youth of this generation WILL replace a culture of death with a culture of LIFE. I am also more convinced than ever that abortion s a worldwide spiritual issue and will be conquered as the King of Kings establishes His rule in the earth.
I encourage each of you to begin praying about provision for the Madrid convocation. I encourage you to begin asking God to make a way for you and your families to attend this anointed gathering. It is going to be a historical moment in our church, the lives of our youth, and our fight for Life. I will be praying also, to see each of you there.
God Bless,
Fr. Terry
