Introducing our newest intern: Christian McGrew! Age 19, Christian is from the Church of the Messiah in Jacksonville, Florida.
We are grateful to Church of Messiah rector Fr. Scott Looker for encouraging Christian to apply, as well as to his parents, Carrie and Greg McGrew, for allowing and encouraging Christian to travel to Birmingham and learn how to fight for Life.
In his application essay, Christian wrote, “I want to be a part of the generation that ends abortion! I know that, with God’s help, I can have a significant impact. This is why I would love the opportunity to intern for CEC For Life in Birmingham this summer. I believe this would help me find a role in which I could have a positive impact in the pro-life movement.”
Our hope is to equip every intern with the skills and confidence needed to lead for life in their church, hometown, or college. Please keep Christian in your prayers as he spends the next two weeks learning, observing, and discerning how to use this experience once he returns home.
